Product Description
This Cdale SM900 "Red Shred" is a fresh restore by Dave Wilkins aka KleinFreak, who was a painter for Klein in the 1990's, and his restorations are considered as good or better than the original stock Klein paint jobs! The Red Shred is the MTB counterpoint to the Cannondale Black Lightning on the road side. It was 2nd only to the SM2000 in the mountain bike lineup, the 900 being more versatile with rack and fender eyelets and a sloping top tube. The paint and decals are IMMACULATE quality and never built, so this is nicer than a NOS frame would be! The top and downtube logos are raised and under the clearcoat in the Klein style.
Condition
Never built or ridden since restoration! Absolutely pristine not a single mark or blemish. No axle marks on the dropouts, derailleur hanger, etc. Top tube cable clips are included. No rear brake bosses, as this model was intended for the XT U-brake which comes with it's own bosses.
