1970's Bicycle Helmet Sizing Gauge: Skid-lid II

This appears to be a head sizing tool for the mid 1970's San Diego helmet manufacturer, Skid Lid.  It's surely useless today, but it's a weird piece of ephemera from cycling's dangerous history. Condition Excellent used shape
