Product Description
Bruce Gordon is a highly regarded master framebuilder out of Petaluma, California. He may be one of the greatest frame builders of the last half century, but he has a reputation of being a bit stark (see this charming blog post for an explanation!). In 1983 and 1984, he produced the Chinook, which were his only "production" non-custom built frames ever. The frame is made with Columbus SL tubing, and features gorgeous lugs with thin pointy scallops. The seattube lug has it's scallop extending up above the level of the seattube top! The paint is a luxurious metallic black. *sorry about the poor photography. My lighting was not cooperating with this dark color :/ The pictures do not do the frame justice!
Condition
Great lightly used shape. The paint overall looks excellent, with just a few minor blemishes. There's a few paint marks near the dropouts on the stays, and a few very minor marks elsewhere. The frame is straight. No rust or corrosion inside the frame.
