This extremely rare discontinued Park Tool repair stand is both a standard repair stand using the clamp and as an extremely useful tool for gauging your frame's main tube alignment and subsequent realignment. This stand consists of the FRS-1 frame straightening stand, #990 clamp adapter to convert it to an "FRS/RS" and allow attaching a clamp, a clamp consisting of PRS-4 and 101-1 professional stand, and a tool caddy bonus.

The most awkward part of frame straightening is holding the frame while the tubes are cold set into alignment. The Park Tool Frame Repair Stand securely holds and frame by the bottom bracket, allowing full access to all of the frame in the stand. The gauge bar swings into position to determine the alignment of the tubes in the main triangle of the frame, then quickly swings out of the way during straightening. The top tube, seat tube, and down tube can be compared along their entire length, as well as to each other, by the indicator on the gauge bar. When the main triangle is properly aligned, the indicator will show that all points on the three tubes of the frame are the same distance from the gauge bar.
Condition
Great used condition with the typical bits of rust these old stands get. All parts move very smoothly, no damage. Clamp and jaws in excellent shape. Note it does not include the indicator gauge that slides on the gauge arm (very similar to the indicator on the Park Tool DAG, just a collar with a sliding indicator rod. The DAG indicator will work for this, though you may need a longer rod).
