Very early example of the Modolo Professional levers in gold anodizing. These have the early Modolo gum hoods that were used before the 919 Anatomic hoods released in 1982. They also oddly had lever blade top decals instead of engraved for the diagonal MODOLO INTERN. PAT. If you squint you can just barely see the ghost of these decals.
The Professional International Pat was Modolo's first brake lever (and brakeset). It was Modolo's flagship model throughout much of it's production from 1976-1985. The levers marked "International Pat" like these are the older ones, and were a limited run. This model has the same feel, leverage, and general style as Nuovo/Super Record levers. They are identified by the cutout on the side of the lever blades, large knurled pivots, and vertical drillium and center lines.
*The white balance on my camera was just a bit off, these are the normal lighter gold than they show in pics.
Condition
Near mint to mint, quite minimal wear. Hoods are supple and tear free, not tacky. Worthy of even NOS show bikes.
