Product Description
Rare set of first gen NR levers, identified by the round hole on the back of the blades vs the later (and MUCH more common) lever's "U" shaped opening. The lever blade is also slightly different, with a bit more bend producing a LONG reach and a flatter tip. These were produced from 1968 to 1972 (perhaps a year or two later). The one with the more light grey non-anodized body is an earlier 1st gen while the other is dark grey anodized is later 1st gen (rider's sweat would corrode the unanodized bodies so they upgraded).
Comes with a set of minty NOS world / globe logo hoods in tan.
Condition
Near mint lightly used shape levers plus new old stock gum hoods! Hoods are minty and supple. Levers show light cosmetic wear in spots, a bit heavier on the non anodized lever. Perfectly appropriate for show bikes with a touch of patina.
