Product Description
This survivor PX10 is 99% stock to catalog spec! Rare blue and black colors, with chrome fork and stay tips. Plain Nervex lugs were only used a few years. Reynolds 531 tubing throughout, with the INOXYDABLE "stainless" treatment (which was used to prevent rust). These racing machines are one of the best bargains in the vintage road bike market. There were so many of them made during the bike boom years, that you get quite a bit of performance and component spec for your dollar.
Comes with your choice of it's original tubular wheels with Mavic Champion Du Monde Red Logo rims and Cyclo Competition freewheel, OR clincher Araya & Shimano Exage wheels with wider ranger Shimano freewheel
Component highlights are the two pin Simplex Super LJ seatpost with black and gold badge (mint and rare!), Ideale 80 saddle, beautifully polished AVA quill stem (track style with lovely faux lugs), and Mafac Course 130 half hood levers.
Condition
Great lightly used condition. The frame is straight, with no dents, cracks, or bends. It has been professionally tuned up, and is ready to ride. Chain, cables/housing, and tires (clincher) are NOS). Original bar tape is in excellent condition. Original brake pads are supple and have very little wear. Brake lever hoods are supple and in nice shape, with the exception of the dark brown deteriorated section on the outside of right lever (see pics)
Paint and decals look great. Peugeot decals look amazing with barely a mark. Reynolds decal on seattube is nearly gone, some wear to fork Reynolds decals. INOXYDABLE decal a bit worn.
Drivetrain and brake components are in excellent shape with very little wear, with the exception of the front derailleur's hardware having some surface rust.

Frame is a Large/XL 58cm square, and will fit riders roughly 5ft 11 to 6ft 3.
