This custom built Jubilee Sport is a beauty! The Jubilee Sport was a mid level racing frame, but this one is completely upgraded to top of the line parts. Nothing but the best, including Campagnolo Super/Nuovo Record, Huret Jubilee, TA Professional, Mavic Module E2 rims, and upgraded chrome fork, no expense was spared building this. The ride quality is on par with the top of the line Grand Record model, or even Italian bikes like my Botecchia Professional. Quick but stable handling, great stiffness for acceleration, and amazingly smooth braking and shifting.
FRAME SIZE:
This is a large 58cm frame, which will fit someone roughly 5ft 10 to 6ft 2 . Seat tube measures 58cm (c-t), top tube measures 58cm (c-c).
CONDITION:
The bike has been well taken care of, and is in excellent mechanical shape. It's been professionally tuned, and is ready to ride. Tires/tubes, cables, chain, pads have plenty of life left. Brand new period-correct Vetta faux leather bar tape. Shifting is super smooth, and the brakes stop on a dime quietly. The frame is in excellent structural condition, with no bends, dents, cracks, etc. Paint looks good, with some scratches and chips from normal use. No rust Wheels are true and tensioned nicely, and all spoke nipples spin freely. The rim brake tracks show moderate wear and have plenty of life left. - Brake levers: Campagnolo Super Record drilled (Great to EXC. Hoods supple w/no tears/cracks, no scrapes on lever blades, just a few light scratches
- Shifters: Huret Jubilee (EXC)
- Crankset: T.A. Professional 3 arm, 52/42t (Great to EXC, light chainring tooth wear, some light scratches)
- Freewheel: Shimano 600 FW-6208, 13-24t
- Seatpost: Motobecane fluted (good shape, some insertion marks and scratches)
- Handlebars: Cinelli 40cm (Very good-great shape, straight, some scratches by stem)
- Stem: Raleigh- Cinelli 1A style (Great shape)
- Saddle: Avocet Spenco Gel R20 (exc, just some light wear. Gel still soft)
- Pump: Zefal HP (EXC)
- Tires: Performance Nova 700x25c (80% or more tread left, sidewalls supple and not cracked)
- Pedals: MKS Sylvan (great shape, but missing a dust cap)
