Product Description
These are first generation Paul Love brake levers for canti brakes, circa mid to late 1990's. These were first introduced in 1994, and the first two years like these had hollow pivots.
They are quite a bit different than the current production Paul levers. Most obviously these have a small "P" decal instead of the current anodizing. More dramatically is the shape of the lever itself. On these vintage ones the inside-facing edge is straight, and turns a 90 degree angle at the front creating a boxy shape on both the body and the lever blade. The modern ones body curves inward and the lever blade curves outward. The vintage one has a different bend to the blade. The barrel adjusters on the vintage are round while modern have protruding knobs.
Condition
Excellent to near mint lightly used shape. NO scrapes/scuffs, only very minor cosmetic wear. Show bike worthy for some.
