Product Description
Super obscure Italian elastomer fork from the early days of front suspension mountain bikes, roughly 1991-1993. Paioli is a well known motorcycle suspension company, that is still intact in Italy. It came stock on the 1993 Schwinn Paramount RS60 (see catalog scan in pics). The general design is similar to the Manitou Two series. The best part is the lowers are anodized 3DV Purple! Quite a rare piece that could make your retro mtb show bike really stand out.
Condition
Cosmetically excellent, though no compression and will need a rebuild to function. Rumor is you can make elastomers from early Manitou forks work with it. The anodizing looks amazing with no fading and hardly a mark. The decals have light marks but are intact. The crown has some marks. Fork action is super smooth, and feels like it has no elastomers in it.
