Product Description
Very clean early version that features the closed pedal holes, with the little "cap" with a hole in it over the back sides. The very earliest versions had different flutes and little engraved logos near the dust caps, and these were after those (probably ~1965?)
The T.A. Pro 5 Vis (commonly called the Cyclotourist or Cyclotouriste) crank is considered by many touring and randonnee cyclists to be the finest crank ever produced (including Jan Heine and Velo Orange). It can be set up as a double or triple, and has a nearly infinite selection of chainring sizes. It's also lightweight, strong, and attractive. It's Q-factor is very low, possibly the lowest of any crank.
Condition
Near mint to mint barely used show worthy condition! Decals are perfect, dust caps are almost perfect. Arm ends have just a couple tiny scuffs but are near mint. chainring bolts look great. Chainring teeth show close to zero wear or dirt. There's the slightest light heel rub near the pedal holes, and one spot on the drive-side arm's rear that chainsuck scuffed a touch. Worthy of any show bike
