Product Description
These 1989 to 1991 canti brakes are among the most powerful of Shimano cantilever brakes of the 1980's and 1990's. They are a wide profile design, allowing for a properly long straddle cable and excellent mechanical advantage. They feature sealed Shimano SLR spring systems. They are the culmination of design from the similar and earlier BR-M700 and BR-M730. In 1992, the BR-M734 came out and from then on XT was a less powerful/modulation low profile design.
