These are the last version of the 9 speed Ultegra shifters. The mechanical parts of these are EXACTLY like the Dura Ace 7700 9 speed shifters, just with a slightly different appearance. Compatible with ANY Shimano 9 speed drivetrain, and works with both double and triple cranks. This set is a bit rough cosmetically, but function perfectly. Thus the bargain basement price. These are highly sought after, as they're by far the best of the 9 speed shifters (even better than Dura Ace 7700). They sell for $300-400 in new condition these days.
Condition
Shifting is perfect. Consistently smooth shifts with no hesitation. Cosmetically the upper half of these shifters are a bit rough. The left shifter has a large scrape along the faceplate and fairing around it. Right shifter has a less severe scrape. Lower section of the lever blades in great shape, as are the hoods.
