The last iteration of the 7400 series derailleur, the RD-7402 was issued with the 8 speed groupset.
As for compatibility, All of the 7400 series variants of derailleurs and shifters are compatible. This will shift with 6sp SL-7400, 7sp SL-7401, and 8sp SL-7402 Dura Ace shifters. It will work with non Dura Ace 6/7/8 speed shifters using the B cable routing (consult Sheldon Brown)
Condition
Exceptionally nice, nearly pristine condition with only a handful of miles. It passes for NOS easily at a glance. It barely has a mark, and the ones present are beyond insignificant. The only one worth noting even is the lower left knuckle has a tiny scuff. Worthy of pretty much any show bike.
