Product Description
Shimano's Parallel Push line of V-brakes (XT & XTR) are some seriously powerful brakes! These brakes have a linkage that allows the pads to move in and out in a horizontal line to the rim, instead of a slanted arc as with traditional v brakes. The pads are also kept at the same angle throughout the stroke. These features make these brakes extremely powerful, with great modulation. They'll blow your Avid's out of the water! More power than even BB7 disc brakes!
Condition
Near mint lightly used shape! Arms are just about perfect, as are the decals. Original hardware in excellent shape. Original pads are worn evenly and have ~75% life left, though the surfaces have a bit of grit/glazing and should be filed down.
