Product Description
This is a complete set of Schwinn's dealer newsletters, encompassing every edition (I think) from May 1965 to December 1980. They are in order from oldest to newest. These newspapers are secured together with long stakes with threaded caps on each end.
These came in the mail to bike shops every month, and provided the shops with invaluable information related to when new catalogs were coming out, Schwinn racing team info, new models, rushes of new Schwinn dealers and competition, tips for running your shop, service clinics, sales analytics, and so much more. There are countless photos of bikes such as the Paramount, Stingray, Twin, Fastback, and many more. There's even a special small blue newsletter detailing a lawsuit judgement related to Schwinn. So, so much bicycle history here!
*All of these catalogs came from a closed Schwinn dealer called Kings Cyclery in Casper, Wyoming that I bought out. Everything was ordered directly from the Schwinn factory.
Condition
Overall the newsletters are all in excellent condition. Most of them are free from dirt, stains, tears, holes, ripped hole punches, etc. There is a handful of them (about 2" down from the top of the stack) with ruffled edges and some folding. There may be other wear mixed in, but that will be the exception.
