This is the ultra rare titanium version top shelf companion to the more common (and later) steel Duopar Eco. Both cage plates, as well as the parallelogram plates and some of the hardware are titanium.
The DuoPar derailleur is has the widest gear ratio ability of ANY road bike derailleur in existance to this day. It has two parallelograms, which allows it to shift up to a massive 36 tooth cog! When set up correctly, these are amazing derailleurs. Widely renowned as one of the best choices for vintage touring bikes. It came on many early 80's models like the Trek 620 and 520.
Condition
Excellent or better lightly used shape. Pulleys are buttery smooth with practically no tooth wear. Springs/pivots feel great. No real wear to the outer cage plate or parallelogram plates! Face plate finish looks great, decals have a bit of wear. Hardware in excellent shape. Good enough for most show bikes.
