Product Description
These were some of the hottest quick release skewers in the 1990's! Introduced in 1992 in their "Holey" MTB version only and then this "road" version in 1993. The only difference is instead of just the drilled holes in the middle of the milled out section of the blades, they just turned the milled out section into a cutout. Why they call this a road version is beyond me. The lever blade itself suffers forces only from your hand closing it, so unless you overtighten your skewers these should be fine for your XC mtb. This version is quite a bit more rare than the holey version.
Condition
Near mint or better with very low miles. Zero fading. Overall barely a mark. The only wear significant enough to mention is the pivoting ends of the blades show a bit of ano wear from dropout contact on the inner and a couple VERY minor marks on the outer. One nut shows the slightest ano wear spots.
