Exceptionally clean set of the early Ringle hubs with 3DV purple anodizing and turquoise logos! These were designed for 7 and 8 speed freewheels, but specifically the 8 speed Sachs freewheels! Their ridiculously low 280g weight plus a freewheel is still lighter than an XTR rear hub and cassette! These were introduced in 1990/1991 and in the catalog through 1994 (unknown if they were in a 95 catalog as it's not on the internet). The SuperBubba and eventually SuperDuperBubba cassette hubs took over fully by 96. Perfect upgrade part for your Yeti ARC or other retro mtb restoration.
Condition
Near mint or better with very few miles! No fading, decals are pristine, ano is VERY close to pristine except around the spoke holes. Bearings are buttery smooth. Completely show bike worthy!
