Here's an odd and rare one... This seatpost is aero (as in ovalized) from it's tip to the clamp. It was designed specifically for the Panasonic Team AR6000, Tsunoda-built Lotus Aero frame, and Shimano's own "AX" frames built just for the trade shows to display their new 600 AX and Dura Ace EX components. If you look close at the pics, you can see it doesn't flare out near the insertion area like standard 600/Dura Ace posts.
No, it will not fit in your 27.2/27.0/26.8mm frame with a round seat tube. To ride with this, you must have one of the above mentioned bikes (see photos for examples). You could always add it to your personal cycling museum though! You're unlikely to find one of your friend's museum with this post.
Condition
New old stock, practically perfect. Just a few very minor scratches from shop wear.
