Product Description
I found a NEW set of Scott Superbrakes!!!!!! These rad brakes were one of the first road caliper brakes that the cable pulls on the anchor sideways to activate the brake (there are a few modern ones, such as the expensive EEbrake). The pads are also unique. They actually have cooling fins (yep, that was radical when introduced too)! The pads have a vertical hole through the backing, and the brake post fits in that hole. The pads are rotatable 360 degrees, for infinite, easy adjustability. They were made for a very short period of time in the 1990's, and are very rare! This is one of those super cool items you display on your mantle or on your favorite show bicycle! Great gift for cycling memorabilia collectors.
These were made by Modolo, for Scott. They came with a set of Modolo Professional brake levers in black ano, like THESE.
Condition
New old stock! Never mounted! The arms and pads are pristine. The center bolt decals have slight wear, and the front brake has non-original mounting hardware. Pads are supple
