Product Description
This is the model all the French and Japanese bicycle collectors lust over! This is Ideale's top of the line TB90 model, with rare aluminum rails, frame, and saddle clip (clamp). These features made the saddle significantly lighter than the standard steel rail model. As far as style, it is a cross between a Brooks Professional and B17. The model came out in 1965, and this one appears to be a late 60's or early 70's model. These are listed on Ebay for $400+ occasionally. Don't miss your chance to get one much cheaper!
Condition
New Old Stock, with some shop wear. It came to me with the leather still covered in the factory wax! The leather is very supple, and not at all dry or cracked. The rails and frame are nearly perfect. The leather does have some surface irregularities and minor marks from shop wear. ZERO signs of actual use from a person sitting on it. Rivets are in good condition, and could be cleaned up to look great. The bolt to secure the saddle clip onto a seatpost is missing, but you can find a replacement at any bike shop or hardware store for just a few dollars.
