Tacx is known for their rear derailleur pulleys today, but these toothless sealed bearing from the 1970's or 1980's are truly elusive! They were perhaps marketed as aftermarket upgrades for derailleurs such as the Campagnolo Gran Sport, Simplex Simplex Prestige, Huret Svelto, etc? Koos Tacx Sr. founded the Holland, Netherlands based shop in 1957 as a local bike shop. In 1969 they opened a small factory making rollers, trainers, and car racks. These cool jockey wheels came sometime after, long before they started making pulleys on a massive worldwide basis. I can't find any evidence of these online, except someone on a forum sent me a screenshot of this ad in some old catalog from the 80's (in pics).
These would be a great conversation starters on a bike, or a killer bike display item to make people go "what the..."
