Product Description
Super rare linear pull brake levers from the Koski Brothers, circa late 1990's to early 2000's. These are designed as a two and a half finger lever, giving the option to use two fingers or squeeze in 3. They are absurdly light at 76 grams. They have a widely adjustable reach controlled by the finger knob to the rear of the lever. These were part of the Koski Engineering Brake Lite Pro brakeset.
The Koski Bros have a long and important history in the mountain bike world. They were major players in the early Marin, California scene circa 1976 to mid 1980's. Erik Koski built the ever so elusive Koski Trailmaster circa 1980-1981, which was one of the very first production mountain bikes ever. The family owned The Cove Bike Shop in Tiburon, California which was one of the very first shops stocking off-road specific parts as early as the mid 1970's.
