Product Description
From 1958 to roughly 1961, Campagnolo made the Brooks Competition narrow railed version of their 2-bolt Record seatpost. This one is model 1045, the standard 2-pin Record post is model 1044. Brooks (Brooks Campagnolo Modell), Ideale, and Unica made this saddle with narrow rails specifically for that seatpost.
Condition
New old stock in original matching box, with some shop wear. Never installed, no insertion marks. There is some odd finish marks on the front/upper portion of the shaft, as well as a diagonal scratch below the insertion line. Perhaps you could polish out these marks, they aren't deep.
