Product Description
Super rare Magistroni crankset from the 1940's or 1950's. This model was the popular 116mm 3 pin 116mm BCD setup, with it's original Simplex chainring adapter links and chainrings. Dual flutes on the crank arms. Quite rare! Great for your antique racing bicycle.
Magistroni was among the most prominent crank manufacturers from the 1930's to early 1960's. They were likely the actual makers of the Campagnolo 3-arm crank. Campy essentially killed Magistroni by requiring team racers to run full Campy gruppos or they wouldn't get free parts.
Condition
This set would need a refinishing to look nice, but structurally they're in great shape. Chainrings show minimal tooth wear. Some rust and pitting.
