These bar end plugs are made from wine bottle corks, and are enhanced with 5 coats of shellac giving this natural cork a waterproof, glossy, and high definition finish. Shellac is an all natural sealant made from the secretions of a Thai insect. It is traditionally used on cotton bar tape and finishing twine, but is equally efficient for cork. These are akin to the plugs that come with Brooks leather bar tape, but much nicer.
This is the definition of a luxury bicycle update. They are expensive, classy, and one of a kind. These gorgeous plugs will not improve the performance of your bike, but it will raise the aesthetics and classic looks of your bike to an immeasurable level.
