Why pay top dollar for NOS Super Record brakes for a bike that's not a prestigious show bike when you can get the same performance and damn near the same appearance for less than half the price? The only two differences between these and a Super Record V2 brake is the Victory has a different QR lever design, an acorn shaped mounting bolt end cap, and different barrel adjusters. They are distinguished from the Triomphe group by the acorn nut and the round cross section on the Victory (the Victory had the profile of a Nuovo Record brake)
These were introduced in 1984 or 1985, as a "heritage" group along with Triomphe for those who preferred the classic stylings to the new C-Record and Chorus aero stylings.
Condition
Barely used and essentially pristine except the non-original pads.
