Product Description
Bit of an odd duck of a NR hub, French freewheel threads with 130mm spacing. Perhaps you have a modern or spread frame you're building into a randonneur? Or you have a 120mm / 126mm to swap in? Comes with a flat blade pre-CPSC quick release skewer.
High flange NR/SR hubs are the gold standard for classic road bicycle restorations from the 1960's to late 1980's. They are drop dead gorgeous, last forever, spin like butter, and add another level of prestige to your bike! Shell grease port allows for easy no-disassembly lubrication. The Record level hubs have replaceable cups and nicer axles/cones than the similar but inferior Gran Sport and Tipo hub.
This hub is part of the Nuovo Record Strada gruppo, and was often issued with the Super Record gruppo. True Super Record hubs ONLY difference is they have 6/4V titanium axles (made by O.M.A.S.), and are exceedingly scarce.
Condition
Just barely used, perhaps even a take off. The spoke holes just barely show evidence spokes have been in them. Minimal cosmetic wear. Bearings are perfect. Skewer is close to mint aside from a tiny scuff on the cam end.
