Product Description
These are the first model of the British-made Brampton pedals. They were made from approximately 1926 to 1933, and pre-date the Brampton B8 and Brampton Star pedals. These are true rat trap, non-quill type pedals. They're really well made, and feature an oil port, a nice black paint finish, and grippy teeth. Great choice for 1920's path racer bikes and early lightweight racing bicycles.
Condition
Excellent used condition. Bearings are buttery smooth, though one has just slight play that could be adjusted out or ridden as is. Cages are straight. No damage anywhere. One pedal's center shell has a few small paint chips, and the dust caps have slight paint worn off. Good enough for many show bikes, or to ride.
