Product Description
This is an ULTRA RARE Ti bottom bracket from the mid to late 90's from North Carolina small boutique CNC parts builder Bruce Boone. These were released with the famous "Twist" crankset. Boone was best known for their gorgeous chainrings and cogs. While he is not making bicycle parts anymore, he makes some luxurious titanium rings (as in wedding rings). These would go great with your anodized 90's mountain bike or road crank, such as Grafton, Kooka, Cook Bros, Topline, M900, etc. The 103mm spindle length is needed for Dura Ace FC-7410, Sugino RD-2, and other low Q-factor cranks. Great length for singlespeed and some 1x setups too
The center section of the spindle was cut in a twisty corkscrew like fashion, which made for an unimaginably stiff and strong bottom bracket while retaining low weight. Plus, it looks cool! It features lockrings for both the drive side and non drive side, which is great for chainline adjustability.
Condition:
Near mint to mint barely used shape. Bearings are buttery smooth with zero play, dryness, or grit. Lockring and cups have no tool damage. A few VERY light scratches on cups. Show bike worthy
