Product Description
These rare pieces of bicycle history clamp towards the top of each chainstay and protect them when the bike is leaned against a wall or even laid down in a crash. They resemble a taillight from a 1950's or earlier automobile. I suspect these were used most often on city bikes as well as tandems. If anyone has more info on these, please reach out!
These would make a magical gift for the vintage cycling fan who thinks they already have one of everything.
Condition
Exceptionally preserved and unrestored condition with a lovely light patina. Rubber is still somewhat supple. No rust on the clamps! One screw is in wonderful condition, the other has the slightest tool wear and the lightest corrosion.
