Product Description
This legendary front disc wheel is what Francesco Moser rode to his hour record of 51,151 km/hr in 1984, beating Eddy Merckx's 1972 record. To be more accurate, this is a semi-production replica of the exact one Moser rode. It was designed to be super heavy at 4.6kg, and to act as a flywheel. Once the wheels were up to speed, they held their momentum extraordinarily well. They were claimed to be carbon fiber, but reports say they're actually fiberglass.
Condition
Excellent display condition! This one is not rideable as is. It's missing it's axle, and there's some cracking near the center on one side. The logos are near mint, as is the original valve hole cover sticker. The black wheel surface is great to excellent with some light scratching
