Product Description
The Team Titanium was Miyata's top of the line flagship model from 1991-1993. It's developed a cult following among Japanese road bike fans and roadies in general. The frame features titanium tubes, bonded to aluminum lugs and matching EMS fork. It originally sold for $2200, with Shimano 600 parts. This one has been built to the hilt with a Campagnolo Nuovo Record drivetrain, Modolo Equipe brakes/levers, and Wolber Super Champion wheels.
***The titanium frame tubes are clear coated, and the clear coat has a few wear marks. For a super slick look, you could sand down the clearcoat to the metal, and brush/polish it to a brilliant finish.***
FRAME SIZE:
This is a medium/large 54cm frame, which will fit someone roughly 5ft 7 to 5ft 11. Seat tube measures 54cm (c-t), top tube measures 53.5cm (c-c). See the Miyata ad in the pictures for full geometry chart.
CONDITION:
The bike has been professionally tuned, and is ready to ride. Tires/tubes, cables, chain, pads have plenty of life left. Shifting is super smooth, and the brakes stop on a dime quietly. The frame is in excellent structural condition, with no bends, dents, cracks, separated bonds, etc. The clear coat finish has some wear areas where the titanium is showing through (see above for ideas on this). Decals have some wear, though the headtube decal looks great. Wheels are true and tensioned nicely, and spoke nipples spin freely. The rim brake tracks show moderate wear and have plenty of life left. See below components list for component conditions.

- Crankset: Campagnolo Nuovo Record (arms have finish wear, chainring teeth in great shape)
- Front/Rear derailleurs, shifters: Campagnolo Nuovo Record (Exc)
- Brakes and levers: Modolo Equipe, graphite (Exc, only a few very minor marks. Pads and hoods in great shape, not dry/cracked)
- Seatpost: unknown high end 1990's CNC model
- Bars: Sakae Custom
- Tires: Continental Gran Prix 4000
- Pedals: NOT included, but available for extra. Models available include Record Superleggeri, Gran Sport, Look, SPD, etc
