1978 Mongoose Motomag BMX: Skyway Tuff Wheel 1 - Ashtabula Fork -Black - Restored
This late 1970's Mongoose Motomag appears to have been ridden very little, and then possibly restored sometime in the past. Or, it could be a practically NOS frame. The dropouts don't show any axle nut indentions and barely a paint mark. It's complete aside from chain.
This gem is part of a collection I acquired from someone who's father died recently. All of the bikes from the collection were clearly loved and well cared for. See my other ads for more vintage old school BMX!
Condition
It is quite clean throughout. The frame is free of dents and rust. Paint and decals overall are 8/10, though a corner of the top tube decal is coming up. The non-driveside seatstay has a paint rubbed spot upper shoulder, and same side chainstay shows a couple scratches. Components are mostly near mint. A touch of rust on the chainwheel.
