Product Description
This clever adapter converts your 26" wheel mountain bike with cantilever / V-Brake rear on the rear into disc compatible. The rod mounts between a brake boss and the adaptor plate, which secures around the axle with a spring clip and safety lanyard. This version is for standard I.S. 74mm brake calipers.
This is one of the better rated disc adapters out there, as most others clamp directly to the stays and exert braking pressure to the frame in places it's not designed for.
