Tommaselli Moto Grips: Klunker / Early MTB / Old School BMX - 1970's 1980's - Black - Diamond Pattern (EXC-Near Mint)
Rare set of Tommaselli moto grips, that were often paired with Tommaselli Racer brake levers and XT Deerhead BL-M700 brake levers on Klunkers like the 1940's Schwinn Excelsior and on to the first Specialized Stumpjumper mountain bike and Mountainbikes from Fisher/Ritchey, etc.
This is a very slightly mismatched set. The grip closest to you in the main photo has the Tommaselli logo, and the one furthest from you oddly does not. The grips are identical with the exception of the non-logo grip's bar end flange is ~5mm smaller in diameter than the logo one.
Excellent to near mint, worthy of some show bikes with patina! They are overall very supple and bendable with no real cracking issues. The flanges themselves are in wonderful condition with no damage. The bar end of one has some minor scuff wear spots, and one lever has a couple scratches on the space between the bar end flange and the beginning of the diamond pattern. Some other minor marks here and there, but overall very clean. Keep in mind these are still 40 year old rubber.
