Product Description
These brakes were used for both the Superbe and Superbe Pro groups from about 1979 to 1983 (and on through 1986 with allen bolt instead of acorn pivot bolt). Made by DIA COMPE for Suntour, these are considered among the sidepull brakes made for vintage road bikes. Similar in basic shape to Campagnolo Record, but better performance. This set features the original red brake pads with alloy tire guides, and red barrel adjuster o-rings.
Condition
Excellent used shape. These aren't quite show worthy, but cleaner than your average rider brakeset. Arms are quite clean, some wear/corrosion to the hardware. Pads are worn unevenly, ~75% life left.
