Product Description
This badge and its origins are a bit of a mystery. There are roughly three "Speedwell" bicycle makers: Speedwell of Australia made by Bennet and Wood, Emblem Speedwell of Angola New York, and the 1974 Speedwell Titalite which was the world's first "production" titanium bicycle (yes, preceding the Teledyne Titan!). The first two made bikes around the turn of the century. Logic would say this is from the NY company, but I've seen this badge on the Australian bikes too (likely installed in later years because this is the prettier badge)
Condition
Excellent shape! No damage to the metal, paint is largely intact with light wear. Light scratching throughout.
