This cool shifter set was released in the 1990's by the bicycle company Sachs. If you like the feel of Campy shifters but don't want to upgrade your entire bike to Campagnolo, this is the shifter for you! The shifter is a basically a re-badged Campagnolo Chorus 8 speed brifter, with different indexing gears to make it compatible with Shimano derailleurs/cassettes, and Sachs rear derailleurs such as the New Success rd. It can also be upgraded to campagnolo 9 speed by switching the indexing gears.
This shifter is compatible with:
- Shimano 6/7/8 speed Shimano or Sachs derailleurs
- Shimano HG or Sachs 8 speed freewheels or cassettes
This shifter is NOT compatible with:
- Campagnolo derailleurs or cassettes
Condition:
Excellent used shape. Shifting feels wonderful. Only a bit of light to moderate markings on the lever blades and light hood texture wear. Hoods are free of tears/holes/cuts.
