Product Description
Sampson made some fine bottom brackets in the 1990's. This is a prototype of the Stratics model circa late 1980's or very early 1990's. It has a standard spindle type, the switch to the wildly shaped spindle center had not occurred yet. The cups are unpolished (production version was highly polished). This is an adjustable design, with adjustable cups on both sides. Great for adjusting chainlines.
Condition
Near mint with low miles. Tapers just barely show crank installation marks. Bearings are perfect. Very slight tool wear. Unpolished cups have some light scratching. Keep them in their original state, or buff/polish them to look new!
