Product Description
Super nice under saddle bag for carrying tools and snacks, circa 1940's, 1950's? It's a hard leather style (or the leather has hardened from age?), and has two metal folding clasps to close the bag while two leather straps hang it from the saddle
Tool bags are essentially small saddlebags that hang from your saddle's bag loops. This is the vintage style the current Brooks Challenge is modeled after. Great for show bikes, L'Eroica rides, or just staying period correct on your classic road/touring bicycle.
Condition
Heavy patina, but it looks cool. Leather's surface is cracking in spots, and the edges of the flap are cracked. Buckles corroded. Straps are in pretty good shape but I'm not sure I would ride with them carrying much weight
