Product Description
This looks like the Criterium post, but has alloy seat clamp parts instead of the standard NR/SR like steel parts. I haven't been able to positively I.D. the model looking at the catalogs. The size is 26.6mm, which is common on high end French bikes with thin butted Reynolds 531 tubing. According to the 1984 Sutherlands, nice quality straight gauge tubing is 26.2mm, where butted was 26.4mm or 26.6mm. This size is used by bikes such as Mondia, LeJeune, Motobecane Champion Team, Grand Record / Jubilee, Peugeot PX-10 & PY-10, Follis, Gitane, even some Rene Herse & Alex Singer.
Condition
New old stock, with some shop wear (mostly on clamp and hardware and inside flutes). I don't see any positive insertion marks on the shaft
