Rare, gorgeous, and high quality toe straps from Electra. They are triple layer constructed and double stitched, with a lovely textured surface. They feature wide buckle pads to guard your shoes, and stainless steel buckles with the Electra logo laser etched in bronze. They even include button ends in black. These are most similar to the also discontinued Velo Orange Grand Cru straps which had a similar buckle pad shape and double stiched/triple layer design.
In 2009 Electra released the short-lasting Ticino line of bicycles and components, inspired by 1940's and 1950's European touring and randonneur bikes. The line was most famous for it's Lux Five Star hubset which was a recreation of the Campagnolo Sheriff Star hubs. On the bike side the Ticino 20D was the top of the line model. It was an upright design with a fillet brazed steel frame and French inspired components.
