Product Description
Altenburger is a component maker out of West Germany circa late 1950's into mid 1960's. These components are most readily known by their inclusion by Cinelli, who in the early 1960's (most I've seen are 1962/1963) made a small number of Model B frames for the Altenburger Champion gruppo with it's under-chainstay mount rear derailleur.
Condition
New old stock, mint. Pads supple and not deteriorating, though these are still antique rubber and will not provide stopping power like modern pads
