NIB/NOS T.A. Ref 34 Racing Cable Guide / Tidy / Clip: Spring Type
Very rare racing type Ref. 34 cable tidy! It is an ultralight and attractive design consisting of two clamps with the TA gear logo that go around each cable housing with a spring connecting the two together. It was introduced in the 1950's and ran into the 1970's. The French word for this type of cable guide is "le guidgaine". Roto made a clone of this with a cruder design, which is just as rare. This style is more attractive and effective than the TA Ref 32 touring cable guide which is a metal plate that sits under your quill bolt with two holes for your cable housing and more basic types like the REG which is essentially two plastic sleeves connected together. The spring prevents any binding that can happen with rigid cable tidys.
New in sealed factory packaging. The remnants of the blue TA logo are there, but its mostly worn off
