NIB/NOS NOKON Brake/Shift Cable & Housing Set: White - Compressionless - KON-011-20

Long out of production, these Nokon cable sets are nearly imposslbe to find! The housing looks like a string of shiny anodized beads, basically jewelry for your bike. They create a very unique look that will get you a lot of attention and questions on club rides. They're compressionless and VERY low friction for astonishly effortless lever pulls. These use standard cables so you can use the included ones or your fav brand. 

As opposed to standard housing, which either has wound metal or straight metal sheathed in plastic, Nokon uses convex/concave aluminum sockets that have bulbs on the end of each socket. The result is a light, stiff housing system that can make impressively tight bends and won’t rust. Inside the aluminum housing is a Teflon liner that the cable travels on with near frictionless efficiency. These provide more reliable shifting due to the complete lack of give the housing allows.  Standard housings can flex outward from forces the inner cable exerts when shifting, which affects how much your derailleur moves.  Nokon cables prevent that completely and provides bombproof reliability!  Plus, they can't rust and they're lighter than standard cables!
