Mavic 305 SSC/Zap Headset: 1" Threaded - Silver/Black - Italian (EXC)
Rare and sought after Mavic headset from the SSC & Zap groupsets, produced 1989-1999. This the road oriented version, whereas the 315 and 316 were marketed for mountain bikes (of course it works for both road and mtb). It features a unique locking collar system in place of a top race with wrench flats, which hides beneath the upper black ring.
Condition
Excellent lightly used shape. Some light marks. One of the bearing retainers is missing 5 bearings (generic size 31 - 1/8") that can be replaced with loose bearings.
