Product Description
Uber rare titanium Chris King Grip Nut in one inch threaded! This one has a polished finish and that iconic "KING Ti" laser etched logo in subtle stripes (it's nearly Sotto Voce in its own way) on the top cup and no logo on bottom cup. This is FAR prettier and classier than CK's current NoThreadset Titanium which is a matte brushed finish and KING repeatedly around both cups in black outline + no fill. Chris King does not currently produce a titanium GripNut or even a 2Nut, and likely never will again.
The GripNut uses a collet system that makes the top nut and the top race essentially one piece. This allows for a spacerless design and a very low stack height.
Condition
New condition, but installed on a show bike that was a wall hanger with only one quick test ride (customer took most of the parts for a different frame and sold me the headset). This is VERY close to pristine condition. Not a mark I can see on the cups. Wrench flats have a few TINY spots where you can see a wrench touched them, but it wouldn't be fair to call it tool wear.
