Product Description
These C-Record era brakes are often confused with Monoplaner brakes. While they are the same basic shape and era, true monoplanar brakes feature both arms "hinged" together. They are both in the same plane (thus mono-planar) and neither side is in front of the other like on these Athena D500 brakes and all other side pull brakes. Still, these are excellent brakes that have less maintenance issues than true Monoplanars.
Condition
Near mint or better barely used shape. Arms are very close to pristine. Hardware has light spots of corrosion. Pad holders in great shape but rubber is worn (I'm not convinced these were actually ridden with these brakes as the arms look so unused). O-rings in great shape.
